Why not? Just because it is hard does not mean it cannot be done.
But why make it harder. The more complex a job is the better control you need. If you go through the posts over the last few years here you will find ever so many posts "why cant I ... when using a RTOS?". The issue is that with the resources of the '51 you can not make a true BIOS and without a BIOS an OS can't be but a compromise. Ans who would want a compromise when designing a complex job. Erik |
