What happens if ProcessAcme() needs to run at least every 10mS and sometimes ProcessGumbo() needs to do a complex calculation that takes 50mS.
If that is a problem, which I have yet to see it being after 100s of projects then split ProcessGumbo and control it with a state machine. If you predict ProcessGumbo to be "too lenghty" you automatically split it. Erik |
