#151091 - "not bit addressable" question
Responding to: ???'s previous message

anl CFG831,#0BFh

Hello again,

I have been beating my little head against the wall trying to figure out how you came up with "#0BFh" to set the CFG831.6 bit to zero but I can't seem to figure it out. According to the info I have, the SFR address for CFG831 is AFh. Wouldn't bit 1 of the CFG831 SFR be BFh as opposed to bit 6?

This may be asking too much of whoever is reading this but given the fact that the CFG831 SFR starts at AFh, what would be the hex bit addresses for each of the 8 bits in the CFG831 SFR? I am just not understanding this and could not have configured the TMOD SFR without the tables in the "bible" you all mentioned to me.

The CFG831 SFR description can be found on page 31 here: http://www.analog.com/UploadedF...DUC831.pdf

Thank you again for your help and patience,
Brian
