oh yes, it is as you stated it. You made the statement in: http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=146098 together with Tie A15 to CE' (an active low chip enable) on your ROM, and tie A15 to CE' on your RAM through an inverter, so that one chip (RAM or ROM) can be active at a time. I specifically said "the "A15 trick" requires that you use no more than 32k of ROM". If you add more than 32k of ROM under the premises you stated it will NOT% work. Erik |
