I would not say "no ISP possible". This depends on the exact definition of ISP... And, if you dare to build a parallel programmer into your application, it may become ISP-able...
The 89C... from Arghmel are not ISP chips. By your definition the original '51 is an ISP chip. I made a circuit 'ISPable' as early as ~95 with a Dallas NVram as code memory. Erik |
