#137774 - AT89C51, AT89C52 still available here Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi All Forum Members,
I agree that Atmel has discontinued AT89C5X a long time back. But these are still available in Mumbai, INDIA, at prices much lower than the official AT89S5x from Atmel. And these ICs are fresh, have a printed "ATMEL" logo, works fine in all the products, and at prices much lower than AT89S5x. And these are available from local vendors, but they do not reveal the source, but sure enough they are available in official ATMEL box packages. So a question that really comes to my mind is: Is AT89C5x really discontinued ? And if they are discontinued by Atmel, then who is manufacturing these ICs ? Bye, From Kiran V Sutar Mumbai, INDIA |
