Here's a guy who's got limitations imposed, not by an unwillingnes to do the work, but by his external circumstances. I think we should all take that into account before "beating him up" for this or that.
He seems clever enough to grasp the concepts, and diligent enough to comprehend and retain the product of his reading and, at least from my experience to date, our inputs. Maybe we should all consider his circumstances before being critical of his efforts. He's made it plain enough that there are limits on what he can do, yet he's also shown his willingness to work around those as much as possible. What say we cut him some slack? RE |
