#114396 - that's not the problem Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Erik,
I'd never have pursued the '575 a decade or so ago if I'd not had the datasheet. Recently, however, I attempted a search on the Philips site for that part and, while they clearly have a datasheet on their website, when I followed the link their search revealed, I ended up empty, with a 404 error, or a message telling me it wasn't there, which persuaded me that they didn't support the part any longer. This, of course, was already known to me, as I'd been unable to get them from Philips back when they still claimed they did support them. That's why I haven't used a Philips MCU in anything since then. I just used that as an example. I also asked you what you'd use as a replacement for the '575 if you found a need. Did you come up with anything? RE |
