Sorry Kai, I've never used the external addressing of an 805x, so I don't know if the page addressing is connected with P2. I was thinking specifically of the Siemens C515A I occasionally use. It has 1k (4 pages) of internal XRAM - page addressed by 'XPAGE' - a SFR at 91h.

And Erik, XPAGE does initialise to 00h. Unfortunately, this DISABLES the internal XRAM! The valid page numbers are F8h to FBh.

Just checked Kai, upper address byte can be written to P2 or XPAGE.
