My original reply is correct. This is the MAX6953 chip we are discusiing here and ALL DM pins do wire directly to that chip, so there are no external supply lines being used wired to the DM.
If DM mean diode matrix, then you will need to either decouple the V+ DRAMATICALLY or, even better, regulate it on each board from e.g. a 12V line. I PWM switch LEDs and with a separate supply for V+LED I have, on that line "bumps" that could make the logic crash. I have not seen you post your LED current, but my 50A 3V3 switched does really "move" whenturned on/off Erik |
