The thing I am concerned about is since this is an I2C driven device and I were to string 16 of these "modules I've will have built. I'm wondering if I'll have the power at the end of the I2C chain
the problem is capacitance. since the IIC wires are pulled up by resistors, you can only live with a small amount of stary capacitance. I have had many IIC devices in the chain on PCBs, how are you going to connect this? I2C driven device and I were to string 16 of these "modules" you can only "string" 4, thay can only have 4 different bus addresses, to go beyond 4 you need a IIC splitter. Erik |
