#111119 - LCD resets Responding to: ???'s previous message |
These darn LCDs have caused so much problem over time as just about everybody ignores the device specs! Everytime I've had a LCD problem - its due to ignoring these critical instructions. I even had a problem whereby the LCD would initialise correctly where powering up but on a warm reset would fail - bad timing again! Get the lcd controller specs and follow the reset procedure religiously! Miss a step and expect to have troubles. Me and thousands of others have learnt the hard way! |
