Dear Kaushik,
I havent gone through your code. Please arrange and comment it properly so thats its readable. It looks like Either your uC is not getting correct reset or your lcd doesnt reset properly. - Are you using a Power supervisor or using plain RC reset. Consider using MAX810, MAX812 etc if you are not using a supervisor. - LCDs do reset themselves but sometimes if Vdd doesnt rise as LCD expects then it may not get a proper reset this requires LCD to reset through software. For HD44780 compatibles you can do this by sending 0x30 three times with around 10ms delay in between. regards, Prahlad Purohit |
