#110893 - putchar() reworded
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Andy, thanks but anyway my problem is not with the putchar() function but the confusion on TI flag. Rewording my problem, I guess these are:
1) Is TI flag to be set by software after end of tx.? or set by hardware automatically? While writing in asm, we have to clear TI flag and wait till TI flag is set by H/W. I found same not be true while executing C code of same asm instructions. We had to set TI manually fot tx. to end?
2)For serial comm.in mode 1 serial communication, we have to set value of TH1=XXH(something) for auto reload? Dont we have to initialize TL1 also? if yes, with what value?

thank you,
Monish
