#110705 - re crypting Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I protected a Eprom Code by using a PAL Device witch did
the crypting for me With a such, you can not do "random" crypting. You must crypt by x always = y etc. There is a very simple way to get started on decrypting such a '51 code which I will not disclose, since I have no intention of helping such bastards. However, I have no doubt that some of the bastards know about this method which bring us back to the fact that just as there is no such thing as "idiot proof", only "idiot resistant", there is no such thing as "cracking proof" just "cracking resistant". Anyhow, in todays fast paced world, your product is probably outdated before anybody has had the time to crack it. Erik |
