What kind of data throughputs, sensor resolutions etc do you have ?
Personally, I'd develop everything with a high speed daatacquisition system on a PC first use LabView or somesuch. "Measurement Computing " do very nice USB dataaquisition systems for a very fair price see their 1208Fs stuff. THEN do the microcontroller stuff, with what you learn off your testbed. May be an 8bitter MIGHT do what you want, but why risk it until you have parametised your problem space. Steve |
