I have already read Atmel Application note:""Interfacing the 3-volt DataFlash with a 5-volt System".
I checked all ICs (mentioned in the datasheet) in the market none of the ICs are available in the market. I am using 74HCT373 not 74HC373. Having read "FAMILY SPECIFICATIONS - HCMOS FAMILY CHARACTERISTICS", I found the following for 74HCT (Vcc = 4.5V to 5.5V) VIH(High Level Input Voltage) min: 2V ,typ: 1.6V VIL(Low Level Input Voltage) typ: 1.2V ,typ: 0.8V VOH(High Level Output Voltage) for all outputs min: 4.4V ,typ: 4.5V VOL(Low Level Output Voltage) for all outputs typ: 0V ,typ: 0.1V VOH(High Level Output Voltage) for standrad & bus outputs min: 3.98V ,typ: 4.32V VOL(Low Level Output Voltage) for standrad & bus outputs typ: 0.16V ,typ: 0.26V That's the reason I used it. Kindly correct me if I am going wrong anywhere. Sushil |
