The avr butterfly board comes with whole library for dataflash code,for that go to www.atmel.com and search for "AVR_Butterfly_application_rev06.zip" using their advance search text box.download the file .exract this zip file in which you will find files with names "dataflash.h" & "dataflash.c" .though these files are in IAR c compiler but i hope this will guide you to the solution.
