#110128 - SERIAL COMMUNICATION USING RS485 |
i am implementing a project where i am connecting two 89c51 with each other using rs232.my software is working properly.
both my ics can communicate with each other properly. when i try implementing the same software using max 485 it does not work. my first microcontroller is connected to max485-1 in the following way p3.1(txd) to pin4 of max485-1 p3.0(rxd) t0 pin1 of max485-1 pin 2(re~) of max485-1 ground pin 3(de) of max485-1 5volts my second microcontroller is connected to the max 485-2 as follows p3.1(txd) to pin4 of max485-2 p3.0(rxd) t0 pin1 of max485-2 pin 2(re~) of max485-2 is ground pin 3(de) of max485-2 is 5volts pin6(max485-1) is connected to pin7(max485-2) pin7(max485-1) is connected to pin6(max485-2) please verify if my connections are right for two way communication. regards harshada |
