I know that its my stock answer to life the universe and everything but DDS to control a servo is entirely possible in hardware without having to resort to a dsp or anything silly like that.Usualy done with look-up tables or a digital PLL,the best solution would be to use something like the delay locked loop that you find in virtex fpgas but that would be slight overkill. |
