For high end AC servo control, I would be looking at using a DSP processor - many have built in hardware for the control of motors. See TI or Analog Devices at a pinch. Doing DDS on them should not be a problem. However, depending on the exact hardware , you may be able to use a 8051 to do it - you'll need to give us more information in order for us to understand the problem better. Never assume we know exactly what you're talking about - already just by using the term 'servo' that has created confusion. |
