#108544 - Why not shop for a friendly vendor? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
If you're having trouble getting samples and/or other forms of support with respect to 805x MCU's, perhaps you should try some other vendors. Having the "best" part is not always the ultimate solution.
Part manufacturers are not always short-sighted, though their distributors often are. If you're an engineer trying to design a product, even if the volume for this one is low, the manufacturer benefits by your favorable experience with his product. If your distributor is all that's standing in your way, try contacting the manufacturer's applications engineering department. If they don't have a sales representative, not a distributor, in your area, there's a sales office that does hanle your geographic area, and they will try to make the sale. Don't neglect the other vendors, however, since, sometimes, the less-ideal component with more nearly ideal support is more suitable than the "perfect" component without it. RE |
