I looked at that section. Am I misreading it, or isn't it showing a polling cycle that is handled by firmware in the MCU?

Now go down to page 17, Section 7.5 Get Descriptor Request. The very first sentence is, "For the Get Descriptor request, MCU must return the specific descriptor if the descriptor exists," (emphasis added). This is why I believe that you must already have executed the code writing the device descriptor.

Nonetheless, bear in mind that I am going only on what I am able to glean from the documents. I could very well be wrong. That is something you will have to determine by trial and error.

I really do want to know if this works. And if not what does?
