I can't think of a reason for using a non-standard baud rate except for historical back-compatibility. My guess is that the pump implementation changed and the engineer had to use the next nearest rate, but the documentation was never updated. May be, but I have seen this also as a simple disguise of the communication for the common user who would simply attach a PC and try listening using hyperterminal. Jan Waclawek |
