I strongly suspect that the documentation on the pump controller is suspect. I would get the pump controller to send some characters and I would measure the actual baud rate. I can't think of a reason for using a non-standard baud rate except for historical back-compatibility. My guess is that the pump implementation changed and the engineer had to use the next nearest rate, but the documentation was never updated. |
