Erik Anyhow, the reason i went that route (suggesting an oscillator) is that I guess it would be easier (cheaper?) to make an oscillator (relatively) temeperature stable, than just a crystal. Someone with the proper knowledge and expertise could match capacitor temeperature coefficient with the tempco of the crystal and that way get stability by such means. |
