At my user page you may find some routines which convert binary no BCD. Well, they do it for packet BCD but may be modifyed for unpacked ones. There are examples for both Gorner algorithm and look up tables. Faster one which converts 24bit binary to 4 byte BCD takes 29...76(max) machine cycles to be complete.
