If by breadboard you mean those plastic jobs with a matrix of holes on 0.1" centers, then I agree with Eric.
If your "breadboard" is like a Silicon Labs microcontroller eval board with holes for wirewrap pins and the 0.1"-center headers, then it should be OK. But to solve your problem: if you can get the mating connector, which I'll assume is some kind of surface-mount job (we use them by the bagful), and if you've got some soldering skills, you can jig it up. Basically, you TakPak (Loctite superglue) the mating connector to your breadboard, then solder 30-gauge (wire-wrap) wire to the header and to whatever the wires need to connect to. Once you're satisfied that the wires are good, TakPak the wires to keep them from coming off. -a |
