If u use the ordinary relay other than any Rf relay/ Microwave switch or TR switch Your data may corrupt due to phisical contacts of the relay, additional pulses and RF Noise may generate due debounses of the relay contacts.

You may lose some data due to delays of physicals contacts of ordinary relay because it takes to much time to make a contact.

If You have to use a single antenna the correct solution is TR switch/Antenna Switch/Circulator or duplexer.
