That's right: for RF switching, you need a specialist relay specifically designed for the purpose - an ordinary power switching relay will most certainly not be suitable.

Of course, being RF, you would have to pay very careful attention to the design of your interconnections to the relay - we're talking transmission lines here.

(you can buy RF relays with standard connectors - eg, SMA - but they are horrendously expensive!)
