No, it's not stupid.
Many systems use separate Rx & Tx antennas - precisely because sharing an antenna (or "diplexing") is not a trivial exercise!

im in great trouble as my project is due in just 5 days.

In 5 days, from a standing start, I think you're going to have to accept that you don't have time to develop a diplexer.
Does the rest of the project work perfectly on separate antennas?
