The clockout FREQUENCY is half the rollover rate. The baudrate is 1/16 the rollover rate. The rollover rate is fosc/(65536-RCAP2) in 6-clock mode and fosc/2*(65536-RCAP2) in 12-clock mode.
Is it so complicated to write down as it really is? However, I don't think Philips is going to correct all of their '52 derivatives' datasheets because of this minor unperfection... I might be terribly wrong, of course :-) JW |
