#105179 - Timer output on pin? (P89C51RD2) |
OK, it has been a long time since I used the 8051.... I am using the RD2 and need to generate a tone, by toggling a pin etc. I reviewing the docs I cannot find a way to use a timer (0/1/2, PCA) to toggle a pin unless I do it manually in the timer ISR. Am I missing something? There is the PCA HSO, but there does not appear to be anyway to reset the timer on match.
