Yes it does. I plugged it in, the head moved back and forth, stopped, and the LCD registered "KEYBOARD OFF."
 I took it apart, and found that one of the tracks was broken on the plastic strip. I then hard-wired it "ON", and it works. My little sister and I had been playing with it the past week. It's fun to type into the memory, hit ENTER, and see it punch out what you typed.  |
