Many components (including some ICs) do not have identification. To judge whether a resistor with the value of 'R' gives suffiucient protection is impossible. To know that a chip is DIP24 does not tell much of the inner workings. Also CD and CU are inputs directly to a port pin, this is VERY bad. uC port pins are just about the easiest pins on ANY IC to destroy. I wonder about the two middle positions on the U9 DIP switch, seemingly all they do is switching a resistor between vcc and ground.
Run a BOM on your schematic that will give you an easy means of find the 'R' values and the 'DIPnn' chip identifiers, then fix it and repost. Erik |
