I also never asked of the grades at interviews.
It takes 10-20 minutes of talk to estimate the grades(*)... and learn much more on the applicant. The CV served then as a list of a few topics we were discussing on. Jan Waclawek (*)Once I was wrong with the estimate, but that was a guy who studied a completely unrelated subject he didn't like at all (mechanical engineering) and was self-educated in electronics. |
