Thanks very much Terry. I would like to get suggestions for the following if possible. It is the same board i described earlier. The o/p of 7805 reads 5VDC But the LED connected to its o/p through a 500 ohms resistor glows dim. It would be fine if i could get to know about the various reasons for such low power o/p (refering my design). Note: The transformer is rated at 12V/3A. The negative o/p of the bridge rectifier is left unconnected since iam not using any neg supply.
