I have no background in rf communication but i would be interested in a way to transmit some data over rf with a few hundred meters range for RC model control. RF radio emmiters are very effiscient but are alo very limited.
I was wondering if someone around here has had an experience in a comparable application where 2 things are important: - response time - data transmisson quality. Bluetooth and wifi are of course not a solution and most solutions I found on the net didn't seem to fit the requirements of RC models : relatively low consumption, low space; at least for the receiver. If the technology allowed some two way comunication it would be even better as this would allowsome feed back: motor temp, gas tank level, rpm ... I know this is bit OT but if feel this thred is going RF so i take my chance for a few bad karma points ... Best regards Benjamin |
