My gate opener will open other apartment complex gates, so it's deffinatly not using some extreamly complex method to prevent unauthorized access.
I'll crack it open tonight and see if I can get any information from the internals (crystal, etc). But, I'm guessing this is a pretty simple device. Something like a modulated frequency (probably much much lower than 2.4Ghz) with a specific pulse (code). Again, I'll see what I can whip up tonight, but I'm having no luck finding much of anything on the good ol' internet. Tomas |
