My point here is that the Line-Termination sequence can be platform-specific - which could explain why his PC-to-PC works (same platform) and 8051-to-8051 works (same platform) but 8051-to-PC doesn't work (different platforms). Of course, this thread has also suggested loads of other reasons which could also explain the problem - it's all getting rather pointless now, as Pradeep seems to have lost interest anyway. :-( |
