Install into system clock oscillator one variable capacitor from 5-22pF or so. By fine tuning oscillator frequency (measure the frequency at ALE pin where you get FOSC/6), you can get accuracy of +-30 seconds per year. This parameter is tested. DO NOT measure the frequency at the oscillator pin, for you can destroy the oscillator capacitance by the probe.
