#2512 - RE: Weird input port problem |
Okay, one thing i need to mention. The development board I'm using is custom made. I think blackjack went out of business, or something. I am going to have to try setting P5 to FFh. But I am not using the monitor program for this code. On my micro, I have Application and Development mode. In development mode, it loads the monitor. In application mode, the monitor does not run, my program does. So the monitor can't be switching the port. The compiler might be the problem, while many examples of code on my laptop from years past define P5, they never use it. I am currently using a Ms-Dos based compiler by MetaLink. All I know about it is I give it my file, and it gives me a hex file. Nothing else. |
