Oh yeah, I kinda forgot to mention what kind of micro it is. (8^) I lost the documentation, so all i know off hand is it is an Intel 80c51, in a Blackjack Telecontroller development board. I am kinda new at this (seeing that I'm only 14, and barely 14 at that!) so I don't exactly know the difference between bitadressing and sfrs, well, actually I know the difference, I just thought that you could use bit addressing for an input port. I hope that is enough information for you to help diagnose my liitle port problem here.
