Are you able to receive data from your PC?

From the standpoint of the communication, the nature of the data being sent is irrelevant. I'd suggest you search for and examine the many examples on 8052.COM and attempt to apply the techniques they demonstrate.

I'm unfamiliar with the ADuC848, so I have no idea why you've chosen to use timer3. Once you've examined the examples, perhaps you'll be able to transmit from your MCU to your PC.
