#1685 - RE: I2C Control |
The LCD idea is ok with me, because i think it's easier to make graphics with it then normal leds. (to control a LCD with I2C..)
The application i want to use it for is a digital controlled pre-amplifier. It has 4 inputs and some modes of audio switching. The board that i already have has an 2x5bands equalizer, normal controls like volume, bass, treble etc. Also some special audio functions like surround sound. (well you can find it back in a philips IC ...) Also that board there are some switches on for the amplifier, to control it (like stand-by and output-off). The amplifier is a PWM amplifier. I made it as a project for my school. Completly designed by my self from the first resistor. It works ok but still have to test a modification that i just made. So for that project i had to make a some kind of control with a computer. (otherwise i couldn't do the project..) So i choosed for I2C sound control. I made the program with a good friend of my. It works very nice. It's written in pascal. So what i want to make now is a home amplifier for my self that i can control without needing a computer. That's why i want to make it with a 8052 (or so). About the program. I have not soo much experience with C but with assembly no experience at all... I dunno which one is to learn the best for a beginnner... Thanks already for the help! |
