#147774 - This will help me

First you must load the file with a terminal program. Configure your options, then its ready for standalone with the jumper installed.

The reason i did this was to program some 89S51's in a remote area where it would not be easy to bring a computer with you.
(some security devices on my property)

Again this is nothing new. Just looking for any advice.

Main disadvantage of Flash memory is that one has to delete(write FF) all bytes and than reprogram with new code. But if we use EEPROM than the required change can be made bytewise without erasing whole program and than loaded into 89S51 flash with out using desktop computer.Onfield programming of EEPROM can be done without using computer(no need of DIP switch).I would like to add this logic to Pocket programmer which also helps multiple reloading of programm to many 89s51.
Regards.
