if I am using 2-wire SPI to link an 8051 and an AD7718 A/D converter board - how accurate does the serial clocking generated by the 8051 have to be?
The datasheet for your SPI device should clearly state what you need to know. In general, for SPI a clock between 1uS and 5 hours will suffice. for some converters there is a narrower window, but again read the datasheet Erik |
