#115376 - 8051 to AD7718 - clock delay? |
Hi folks,
Firstly thanks for all the info that has gotten me this far in my little project! I have a question - if I am using 2-wire SPI to link an 8051 and an AD7718 A/D converter board - how accurate does the serial clocking generated by the 8051 have to be? When the AD7718 is transmitting bits, how long does it wait for the clock to tick? For instance what if the 8051 gets "stuck" in a routine and is "late" in reading the next bit? Rgds, Eoin |
