if your 555 supply voltage is not same to microcontyroler voltage use of an optocoupler
why on earth use an optocoupler ? once a 555 is involved, everything is imprecise, so why not just use a transistor? OR if 5V in and 3v3 out there is the 74lvc4245. if 3V3 in and 5V out any HCT chip will do. Erik |
