#114805 - Circuit Cellar Built one about 1986 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Anton,
Circuit Cellar (www.circuitcellularink.com - I think) offered a 7400 TTL family IC checker and ID of chip about 1986. They even gave away the printed circuit board to get people interested in it. It was based on the 8031 IC. Used an EPROM and LCD for readout. I still use it for testing TTL ICs. Just stick the suspect/unknown ic in the ZIP socket and the LCD readout would tell you what is was and if it is good. Regards, Charles Bannister |
